University of North Carolina Wilmington

The University of North Carolina Wilmington chapter was established in 2023 by Jordan McLeod. The goal of the UNCW chapter is to establish training and guidelines for recipients of 3d printed recreational prosthetics to allow our members to directly assist in each patient's journey of adapting to the use of their device. Furthermore, the UNCW chapter focuses on creating individual finger prosthetics in addition to general hand prosthetics, as well as supporting the limb-difference community of Southeast North Carolina and educating the local community on the importance of accessibility.
