Winston Salem State University

The Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) chapter was established in 2020 by the Occupational Therapy Department. The goal of this chapter is to create and provide assistive devices through the use of 3D printing to local and global communities in need. The Community Care Clinic and United Health Centers are local clinics in Winston-Salem where the WSSU chapter provides 3D printed devices to increase their occupational participation in everyday occupations. The WSSU HHP chapter engages in international outreach to OT programs & clinics as well. Additionally, a mentor-mentee program has been established to increase the awareness of HHP at WSSU to incoming OT students.
